The summary below shows what to expect before you sign. The binding document is the written charter contract signed for every booking.
Payment schedule
- Deposit: 30% of the charter fee at signing.
- Balance: 30 days before the start of the cruise.
- APA (advance for fuel, harbour fees and provisions): 10-20% of the charter fee on motor yachts and catamarans, taken at check-in and settled against receipts at the end, with any surplus refunded.
Cancellation and date changes
- 60 days or more before the cruise: the full deposit is refunded or transferred to another date.
- 59-30 days: 50% of the deposit is refunded.
- 29 days or less: the full charter fee is due, but if the boat is re-chartered a refund is made in proportion.
Bad weather
The captain may halt the cruise or change the route for safety reasons. If more than 24 hours of the cruise are lost, the unused days are refunded or carried to next season.
Handover and return times
Check-in is Saturday 15:00 and check-out Saturday 09:00; day trips run 09:30-17:30. Early arrival or late departure is arranged separately, subject to availability.
Guest responsibility
In the case of intentional or negligent damage, the survey report and repair cost are set against the damage deposit. This item covers losses outside the vessel's insurance.
Children, pets and smoking
Children under 12 sharing a cabin with adults are counted free, within cabin capacity. Pets are accepted only on pre-approved boats with an extra cleaning fee. Smoking is prohibited in cabins and allowed only in designated areas on deck.
